Located in northwestern Victoria—approximately 280km northwest of Melbourne and 20km southwest of Swan Hill—the Nowie Project lies just 22km north of Goschen. The site hosts notable accumulations of zircon, titanium minerals and rare earth elements, all essential for clean energy, technology, and advanced manufacturing industries.

In January 2024, VHM confirmed a maiden Inferred Mineral Resource of 16.4 million tonnes at 3.8% Total Heavy Mineral (THM), in accordance with JORC 2012 (see ASX release: Quarterly Activities Report – 31 December 2023).

Drilling results released in August 2023 also indicate the presence of a new high-grade ore body, further reinforcing the project’s long-term potential (see ASX release: Drilling Results Indicate New High-grade Ore Body at Nowie).

The Nowie discovery extends VHM’s critical minerals footprint across a 55+ kilometre corridor—from Cannie in the south, through Goschen, to Nowie in the north—confirming the emergence of a major resource province in Victoria.
